Privacy Policy

SentriNest (“SentriNest”, “we”, “us”) gives every home a persistent digital identity — a Home Passport that keeps a home’s records, photos, documents, and history in one place. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SentriNest mobile app, website, and related services.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
• Home & property information — details you add about your home (address, systems, appliances, maintenance, upgrades, contractors, and related records).
• Photos & documents — images, PDFs, and files you choose to upload to your home records.
• Voice recordings — audio you record when you choose to describe an issue by voice; it is transcribed to text to help you.
• Device & usage information — basic technical data needed to operate the app reliably and securely (for example, app version and error diagnostics). We do not use this for advertising.

We only access your camera, photo library, microphone, and Face ID when you actively use a feature that needs them, and only with your permission.

How we use your information

• To provide the app’s features — your Home Passport, photo library, documents, upgrades log, maintenance, walkthroughs, and AI assistance.
• To secure your account and prevent unauthorized access.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to run SentriNest, under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us. These include cloud hosting and storage providers, and AI providers used to power features you invoke (for example, transcribing a voice note or generating a grounded answer about your own records). Content you submit to an AI feature is used to produce your result and is not used to train third-party models.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard protections including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing info@sentrihq.com; we will delete it except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Your choices

• Access or update your information within the app.
• Control camera, photo, microphone, and Face ID permissions in your device settings.
• Request account and data deletion at any time.

Children’s privacy

SentriNest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
